I needed to clear my mind today and found myself at a cemetery. While on the phone with a friend she asked, “Do you think it is ironic that you ended up there? What is it that died?” After we prayed together, I sat and thought and listened and observed. I cried for a moment, yelled, screamed and cursed!!! After sitting in silence for a while I realized the cemetery can be a symbol of both death AND life. Yes, there are bodies in the ground and people come there to mourn their loss but there is life there too. There are birds, grass and trees, flowers and even people who come to celebrate the life of their loved ones. Death is necessary for life. A rebirth an understanding. I see it now, I feel it and i am grateful for it. My strength and faith was renewed today. My prayers answered, conversation complete and mind cleared.
MISSION: ACCOMPLISHED.
